B@$$ (pronounced Bass-Money) is a Trip-Hop artist from Staten Island, New York who started playing music in a band called Bad Influence in 2002. He joined the band Scape Goat (playing the bass guitar) in 2004. He left Scape Goat along w/ then rhythm-guitarist & background vocalist (Corpus+Callosum) to form (Controlled+Chaos). They started recording in the 570 in 2009. During this time, they jammed w/ many artists, but couldn't find the right line-up... B@$$ went on to record the Xannie Bars EP in late 2009. B@$$ suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. At the young age of 13, he was assaulted by an ex-cop from New York when he was pistol-whipped in the back of the head, forever changing his life. In 2012, he was arrested for allegedly sticking up a taxi via shotgun when he brandished it from his bass guitar bag. This is his story...
