Đana Smajo (born 16 March 2003) is a Croatian pop artist from Split who emerged into the regional spotlight through a series of talent shows. At just 20 years old, she won the second season of the digital competition IDJ Show under the mentorship of Serbian pop star Nataša Bekvalac. From early appearances on shows like Zvjezdice to her breakthrough via IDJ Show, Đana built a steady foundation for her musical identity. Notably, her victory in the competition secured her a significant production investment through the IDJ platform, marking a pivotal shift from emerging talent to recording artist. In 2025, she released her first EP titled Što osjećaš?, a six-track collection showcasing her songwriting and compositional input. With the EP, she leans into contemporary pop production, layering in Balkan melodic inflexions and an emotionally honest vocal delivery. Her approach strikes a balance between the polish of larger-scale pop acts and a distinctive, personal voice with local grounding.
