As a band, К402 was formed in Lviv, Ukraine in 2005., as a family - in 2003. Few years ago there were two friends living in one of the dormitories of Lviv. They were fond of playing music on acoustic guitars. Time to time they used to organize kvartirniki (little performances which were held in their dormitory's room). Many different people were gathering there, and they really loved listening to that kind of music. Serious rehearsals began after one more guitarist joined their band, but music was still acoustic and nobody thought about it's electronic sounding. Since that time several musicians came through К402, but nobody stayed for long. But the final band squad appeared to be a successful combination of different people. First album Beautiful Sad was released in 2008.
