Igor “Baty” Lysy and Oleksandr “Graf” Budnetsky met in 1990 while singing songs together to guitar accompaniment on the grounds of a kindergarten. The third member, Serhiy ‘Senia’ Prysyazhny, joined the band thanks to Lysy. Starting in 1986, Senia had played guitar in several bands and, by the standards of the time, had considerable experience. The band's first public performance took place on 11 May 1994. This date was decided to be the official birthday of the band MOTOR'ROLLA, whose name was an abbreviation of the phrase ‘Motors (motorcycles) of rock “n” roll.’ At that time, most of the guys in the band were interested in heavy motorcycles and were fans of new rock “n” roll bands.
