Srub (can be translated as 'Log cabin' and pronounced as 'sroob') is a post-punk band of Igor Shapransky based in Novosibirsk, Russia. Due to the author, he was inspired by russian slavic occult customs and tried to recreate the real russian atmosphere in his songs. It is obviously that the band called Утро (translated as 'morning' and pronounced as 'utro') has a great influence on Сруб: there are a lot of similarities between the bands starting with vocals and ending with grim and even frightening sound.
