Speed/thrash metal band Hades was formed in 1986 in Varna city, Bulgaria by Pavlin Neichev (lead vocals and lyrics), Konstantin Jambazov (guitar and compositions), Armenak Terterian (drums) and Julian Kolev (bass). At that time all band members were teenagers barely starting to learn to play their instruments and making first attempts to write music inspired by Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, and Destruction. Other influences that formed the specific style of the band came from classic metal bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Loudness, etc. (and especially Swedish guitar virtuoso Yngwie J. Malmsteen).
