Itokubo (イトクボ) was a Japanese pop rock duo consisting of vocalists Ayaka Ito (伊藤彩華, born January 29, 1987) and Keiko Kubota (窪田啓子, born December 5, 1985) and backup musicians. They were formed in 2005 and their name was created from the first two syllables of each of their last names. While they were active they mainly played shows on the street and at small music venues. Their most well-known song is Into The Sky, which appeared in the video game Beautiful Katamari. Other popular songs of theirs include Myself, Onegai Kamisama, and What's Up Girl? They began recording an album but did not finish before their breakup in 2007. Since their breakup, Ito has launched a solo career as Maria (マリア, as vocalist and guitarist) and Kubota is now a vocalist in Yuki Kajiura's FictionJunction project (as FictionJunction KEIKO) as well as one of the three vocalists in Kalafina.
