The four piece punk/rock band has been on the Japanese indie music scene since 2004. They originally formed under the name “This Morning Day”, but came back onto the indie music scene in 2007 rebranding themselves as “グッドモーニングアメリカ” (Good Morning America). They’re known for their energetic pop/punk sound which is often reflected in their rather zany music video. グッドモーニングアメリカ have found success within the Japanese independent market and are currently participating in their “Country Road Tour 2012” which sees the band play at seven locations around Japan. グッドモーニングアメリカ are still relatively unknown internationally but their combination of English infused, pop/rock music which they combine with their playful sense of humor, at least ensures that they will have a loyal and entertained fan base in the West.
