This is the 15th single released by Eiichi Ohtaki in 2003, and also the second single released after he retired from solo activities in 1984. This single originally were produced for Seiko Matsuda in 1981, but later scrapped as he felt ''didn't fit her'', then gave it to another producer, later released as Kaze Tachinu----which became Matsuda's seventh #1 single (along with her album of the same name). The single was produced for a TV drama, Tokyo Love Cinema, which released on the same year. Read more on Last.fm.

Eiichi Ohtaki (大瀧 詠一 Ōtaki Eiichi, born July 28, 1948 in Esashi District, what is now part of Ōshū, died December 30, 2013) was a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. He first became known as a member of the influential rock band はっぴいえんど (Happy End) in 1970, but is better known for his solo work. His 1981 album A Long Vacation is particularly well-known and highly acclaimed. It was the first Japanese album to be released on CD, was named Best Album of the year at the 23rd Japan Record Awards, certified double platinum by the RIAJ and has been re-released in 20th anniversary and 30th anniversary editions. In 2007, it was named the 7th greatest Japanese rock album of all time by Rolling Stone Japan (the list was topped by Happy End's Kazemachi Roman). Read more on Last.fm.
