宮脇詩音 (Shion Miyawaki) is a new artist under rhythm zone, a Japanese music company. However, she is part of a special project called 「ザ・ライバル」 (The Rival) and she has been put up against her rival 光上せあら (Seara Ko-jo). Both artists will be debuting their music materials on the same day until their debut album. Her debut single BOY was worked on by Matsubara and Katashi, who have worked with BoA, MISIA, Crystal Kay. After selling all 1,000 copies of her indie release Shinin' Star, Shion released a mini-album named dear on August 6, 2008.
