Mami Yamase was born on October 2, 1969 in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan. In 1985, Yamase Mami won the 10th annual Horipro Talent Scout Caravan audition. She debuted as a singer on March 1986 with the single Melon no Tameiki. She was called by many as a variety idol because she appeared on much variety shows and doramas. As an actress She is known for Sûpâ Mario burazâzu: Pîchi-hime kyushutsu dai sakusen! ( 1986), Tsuribaka nisshi 4 (1991) and Tsuribaka nisshi (1988).
