Mayo Shono (庄野真代) - born 23 December 1954 in Osaka. Japanese singer. She begun performing music when she entered high school , and thereafter spent all her time participating in auditions . Mayo passed the Yamaha Vocal Audition. She was accepted into training at Nemu Music Academy. She made her record debut in 1976 with the release of her debut album あとりえ with the label company Nippon Columbia, and gained attention as an urban new music singer. In 1991, they made their CD debut in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Read more on Last.fm.
