Xu Yiyang (Chinese: 徐艺洋; Korean: 쉬이양; born September 12, 1997 in Nanchong, Sichuan, China, is a Chinese singer and actress. In 2014, Xu signed with SM Entertainment as a trainee. She was introduced as part of SM Rookies alongside æspa's Ningning on September 19, 2016, as part of the pre-debut team, she appeared on the Rookies Princess: Who's the Best? segment of the program My SMT in 2016 as well as having recorded several cover songs for the Korean animated TV program Shining Star in 2017. On September 19, 2018, she posted on her Weibo account about her departure. After she reaching the finals of survival show The Next Top Bang, where she debuted as a member of LEGAL HIGH. She then finished 8th in Produce Camp 2020 and was unable to make into the final lineup of the debuting group. She made her solo debut with the single Listen on July 16, 2020 written, composed and produced by Huang Zitao. Her single OMG was released on September 29, 2020. She made her acting debut, plaing the role as Xu Jing in Airbenders. She was part of the cast of the basketball reality show, Dunk of China 3. Xu won the Best New Artist of the Year award at the 17th Man At His Best Award on December 10, 2020. Yiyang’s first ep ‘会不会再见’ was released on January 8, 2021. Read more on Last.fm.
