Maybe Mars 10th Anniversary = 兵马司十周年



怪力 (Guaili) is a Beijing band fronted by dynamic female singer 文隽 (Wen Jun). The band first began under the name The Dirty One in spring of 2004. Guai Li was then formed in 2006 by PK14 bassist 施旭东 (Shi Xudong), who wanted to start a new band to showcase his percussion skills. The resulting four-piece includes singer 文隽 (Wen Jun), a brilliant performer who singing style has been compared many times to a young, hungry Patti Smith growling and thrashing on stage. The other members are guitarists 刘跃 (Liu Yue) and 徐盛 (Xu Sheng) and bassist 何一帆 (He Yi Fan). The interplay between the two guitarists is one of the band's distinctive features. The name of the band comes from the Chinese idiom guai li luan shen, which means the things of evil and hero and rebel and god that can’t be explained. After playing Beijing clubs and in other cities in China for several years, the band's first CD 妄游记 (Wang Youji / Flight of Delusion) came out on Maybe Mars in 2010.
