The Landlord's Cat (Simplified Chinese: 房东的猫, Traditional Chinese: 房東的貓) is a Chinese folk singing duo comprising Wang Xinyi (由王心怡) and Wu Peiling (少年佩), who take on the roles of the main vocalist and guitarist, respectively. Regarding the name of the duo, Wang Xinyi shared: When we were in our second year of college, we had fewer classes, so we wanted to go to a cafe to sing and play. After that, we told the cafe owner, and he said he wanted to help us promote but we needed a name. I wanted to promote it, so that day I went down the stairs. When I went down the stairs of the dormitory, I saw a cat on the roof. However, I found it a bit complicated and not very beautiful, so I changed it to the landlord's cat. Read more on Last.fm.
