Niira Etsuko (新良エツ子), born July 4 1983, is a Japanese singer and actor. Her name often is misread as Shinra instead of Niira. She is currently a member of the stage acting company Usagimachi 13. Niira has also been an active singer in doujin (fan-made) genres. Her most famous works probably are her songs in the so-called Nakanai Kimi series, a series of songs written (with an illustrated music video) in tribute to the anime/game series Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni and Umineko No Naku Koro Ni - also known as Umineko / Higurashi Motion Graphics.
