杉本善徳 (Yoshinori Sugimoto) is an artist with origins in Osaka, who began a successful solo career after the disbanding of Waive in 2005. Under his independent label (Fe Pipe Label), his first single, 極彩色の狂詩曲 // Gokusaishiki no Rhapsody, ranked #2 on the Oricon Indies charts. He will be indefinitely on hiatus after his one-man live “GIG『ヨシノリズム2』-さよなら善徳先生-(GIG 『yoshinorism 2』-sayonara yoshinori-sensei-)” at Shibuya O-East at 2013/02/09 as it takes long time for him to recover from his vocal chord problems. In an interview with Five For magazine, he maintains that he taught himself how to play the guitar.
