輪入道 (Wanyudo, born 7 February 1992) is a rapper from Chiba, Japan. Wanyudo was born in Tokyo before moving to a reclamation area in nearby Chiba City. Wanyudo became active in hip-hop activities in 2007, winning his first competition at the Chiba CLUB BELT no REPRESENT MC BATTLE (千葉CLUB BELTのREPRESENT MC BATTLE) at the age of 17. In 2008, Wanyudo centered his hip-hop activities in the Tokyo region, where he began performing at various clubs, a majority of them in freestyle. In 2009 he appeared in the late-night TV Tokyo Program Chiba's Yankee Rapper (千葉のヤンキーラッパー) and began his participation in the influential B-BOY PARK competition that same year. Wanyudo released his first album 片割れ (Kataware, translated as One Piece) in 2013 under his own music label GARAGE MUSIC JAPAN. He further expanded his activities in 2014, appearing in various television programs and winning the B-BOY PARK competition. In 2015, he participated in TV Asahi's Freestyle Dungeon as a contestant, where he was later upgraded as a monster in 2017. He released his second album, 左回りの時計 (Hidarimawari no Clock, translated as Counterclockwise Clock) in February 2017 to critical acclaim. Read more on Last.fm.
