阿弗娄 (Aflou, pronounced as a flow) is an indie c-pop singer and songwriter of Tujian ethnicity born in Enshi City, Hubei, China. His soft pop music style is known for its minimalism and use of simple sounds and arrangements to highlight his vocals, primarily influenced by soul, R&B, and Western pop. He first started making music as a college student while studying in London in 2019, forming an alt-pop duo known as YUN SEN, with their song All I Have winning several indie awards. After returning to China, Aflou wanted to connect his music to his Chinese roots, and uploaded solo songs on Weibo, garnering some popularity among netizens. He released his first EP in 2021, which won the third 刘欢原创音乐专项公益金 (Liu Huan Original Music Special Charity Fund) award after the evaluation of his songs 夜的孩⼦, 如果这是⼀⽚不灭的⽕, and 今天我是.
