리경숙(李京淑), Ri Kyong Suk, is a North Korean singer born in 1970. At age 7, she debuted in a theater where her talent was recognised. In 1988, she started studying music at Heisei Art School in Southern Pyongan after having joined 보천보전자악단, a famous orchestra in the country. She is famous by her rendition of traditional Korean song 아리랑 (Arirang) and in South Korea by the song 반갑습니다 (Nice to meet you).
