Battle (배틀) is a popular Korean pop group. The group consist in five members: Chris - Jung Hyung Rok (정형록) HwiChan - Kim Tae Kwan (김태관) Lio - Park Ji Woon (박지운) Ryu - Won Seung Jae (원승재) TaeHwa - Jin Tae Hwa (진태화) Former member: KiHyun - (Shin Ki-hyun) left the group in 2008 to focus on acting. If you watched the show “Let’s CokePlay Battle Shinhwa” sponsored by Good Entertainment, M-NET and Coca-Cola, you would have known these boys before their first debut performance on December 17, 2006. The special show was where Shinhwa (신화)’s members selected six young men out of a group of 12 finalists (from 1,800 applicants) to form the “next Shinhwa”. The six were chosen by their singing, dancing, and endurance skills. Their first and debut single was Crash (Crazy in Love) (Released in 2006), featuring three tracks and one intrumental version of Incarus. Their second single was Malhae! (말해!) (Released in 2007), featuring three tracks and one intrumental (Gojangnan Gaseum). Their third single was Step By Step (Released in 2008), featuring just three tracks (not a full single).
