Shin Hye Sung (신혜성) (born Jung Pil Kyo (정필교) on November 27, 1979) is the lead vocalist of the boy band Shinhwa (Shinhwa). Hye Sung means Comet. His English name is Steve Jung. He auditioned in America and became the first member to be part of the group. Hye Sung was the second member in Shinhwa to release solo albums, the first being Lee Min Woo. Although he had wanted to go into R&B like Lee did, he chose to sing ballads as he did not want to rival his friend. He released his first solo album entitled 오월지련 (Love of May, 五月之戀) in 2005. This album ranked number one on the HMV pre-order sales chart in Japan in February 2005, with 80,000 copies sold. Read more on Last.fm.
