She is a singer & actress best known for her roles in the films Marriage is a Crazy Thing (which earned her a Best Actress Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards), My Lovely Week and Princess Aurora. Singer and actor Uhm Tae Woong is her younger brother. As a singer she's recognized as the Gayo Icon in 90's Korean Pop culture. Known as the sexy queen, and is currently with Trifecta Entertainment.
