Im Junhyeok (임준혁) is a South Korean solo artist under Beatful Music Company. He debuted with the single album STAY on February 22nd, 2018 with the lead single Stay and b-side track Sorry. Junhyeok is a vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist. Before joining Beatful Music and debuting as a soloist, Junhyeok participated in 2017-18 survival program The Unit where he placed 32nd. Junhyeok's initial debut was on September 9th 2015 as a member of JYP's band DAY6, after previously training under JYP for up to 5 years. In February of 2016, Junhyeok had to leave the group for personal reasons. His first showcase after leaving was held in July of the same year, and in October 2016 he would join predebut band Be-Blossom, housed under V Entertainment. Be-Blossom unfortunately disbanded before debuting, which is what led Junhyeok to choose to appear on The Unit - a show for failed idols who felt it they needed rebooting. After gaining recognition and receiving praise for his abilities as a vocalist, lyricist, and composer, he did several interviews and was able to join a company and finally make his official solo debut.
