Piggy Style



Piggy Dolls (피기돌스) is a South Korean girl group, consisting of Kang Eun Young, Lee Eun Young and Lee Ji Young. The group debuted on 6th January 2011 with their mini-album, “Piggy Style,” on various music sites. “TREND,” the title track from their debut, is especially fascinating in that it features lyrics expressing their personal feelings on their image. “I’m always confident, I don’t care about anything else, what’s wrong with my body? My face is unique.” The group expressed, “We think our team name fits well with our members. As you can see, we really are ‘piggy dolls.’ (laughter)” The group released an album (“Hakuna Matata”) in mid-2011 and three digital singles in 2012 (“Sarangi Mwogillae”, “Rule the Sky” and “Sarangeul Mollannabwa”) before going on hiatus for over a year. The group returned in September 2013 with a completely different lineup. Their agency said “We have boldly decided to abandon the original Piggy Dolls concept and have gone for a new character while preparing for this comeback. If we were to compare Piggy Dolls to a dish, then the Piggy Dolls character up till now has been a dish that has been spicy and sweet.
