7 was founded by guitarist Lorenzo Chacon with the release of Ascension in Descension in 2008. 7 featured a revolving lineup of musicians who held exclusive performances throughout the western United States for private adult events. In 2011 the free album Death Flower Vol. I was released and the track The Freak Likes it was used in the film Model Minority.
