Burkay Yalnız was born in Ankara in August 1989. He completed his elementary, middle, and high school education in Samsun before enrolling in the Chemical Engineering program at Anadolu University, which led him to move to Eskişehir. His music career began in 2004. Between 2004 and 2006, he collaborated with various local bands and musicians in Samsun. In 2006, he composed the soundtrack for a short film titled İç İçe, directed by Volkan Yalçın. In 2007, he created his first experimental project, Eugene, which consisted of four tracks. That same year, he collaborated with Bedirhan on another experimental piece titled regfive5. In 2008, he released his first instrumental work, Klimanjaro. Following that, he presented his second solo experimental project, Bant Kaydı, which featured seven tracks. In addition, he recently shared his third solo project, Gringo ve Gökkuşağı, with listeners. The album includes five tracks, with music by Nops (from Derin Darbe), and mixing/mastering handled by Hazar and Ağaçkakan. Read more on Last.fm.
