Aberjaber was a Welsh instrumental folk group from the Swansea area formed in 1993. Formed by Peter Stacey (flutes , saxophones , chwislau, Welsh pipes , bodhran), Delyth Evans (Celtic harp) and Stevie Wishart ( violin , viola , crwth , hurdy-gurdy), three former members of Cromlech, the band was noted for their experimental and eclectic approach in blending elements of the Welsh tradition with melodies, sounds and other folk practices. Their first eponymous album (Sain, 1985) includes arrangements of Welsh tunes as well as tunes from other countries. Aberdaujaber was released in 1986.
