Folkrock band AIRIJA was established in Alytus in Lithuania in 1992. Over the eight years the band released five acclaimed albums. The Irish art and culture have had a great influence on the creation of this group, hence the name, Airija means Ireland in the Lithuanian language. Airija are: Nojus - vocals, guitars, music, lyrics; Eimantas Belickas - violin, clarinet, sax, music, lyrics, tamburine, accordion; Koka - bass guitar; Asta Miler - drums, handbell, tamburine; In year 2000 the band terminated its activity and members pursue their own musical projects.
