Her creative journey has been about finding strength in vulnerability by transforming emotional diary pages into honest, soulful and fierce music, mirroring the experience of being a young hopeless romantic trapped in a tinder-dominated world. Akuvi is a woman of many traits. She has a master's degree in social science, specializing in political science and the sociology of religion. - A degree she attained while pursuing her music career in Cape Town 2015-2018.
