Alexiane is a Canadian Senegalese French singer-songwriter best known for her 2017 hit a million on my soul. Alexiane Silla , known simply as Alexiane, was born in Montmagny, Quebec, on July 21, 1992, the only child to a Senegalese father and a Canadian mother. She grew up moving between Senegal and Canada. In January of 2017, she moved from Montreal to Los Angeles to study music economics and production at UCLA Extension. Later that year, she sang 'A Million On My Soul' for her uncle Luc Besson's film 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.'
