Beneath the Waves



Allicorn, a solo artist from the UK's rural southwest has been composing electronic music since the early 80's when the first affordable home computers learned how to make a beep. With eclectic influences drawn from a range of genres crossing metal, orchestral and electronic styles, Alli's heavy and brooding sound is the thread that binds his work together. Besides a few released ambient albums and a host of free tracks available online, Alli is a prolific remix artist. Remixing is a great way to exercise your musical muscles and explore some new territory. Working with other folks' material forces you to think in new ways, learn new skills and can really give you a deeper insight into the good and bad points of your own style when you come back to work on your own compositions. Currently working on both original and remix projects with several labels and bands, as a kind of remixer in residence at The Collective Studios UK, and as a band website designer, Alli is an energetic supporter of the indie music scene.
