Almeida Michel, better known under his artistic name Almi, is a Portuguese-Luxembourgish Electronic Music Producer. Born in Luxembourg, the only grand duchy currently in existence, Almi has played a major role in representing Luxembourg's small but talented Electronic Music scene, with productions and remixes that are based on the building blocks of Electro-House and reconstructing them, by adding fresh modern genre defying twists. Influenced since the early ages by the likes of Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and later by Deadmau5, Adam K., Alan Walker and many more... Almi is constantly looking for inspiration in every genres in which he finds key elements to improve himself and his productions. Having produced music for over 8 years, the self-taught producer, has proven his talent by signing his records on Luxembourgish and international Record Labels such as: Bonzai Progressive, Sirup Records, Lauter Unfug, Noobish Records and more… Aside of his solo project, Almi has also worked on successful collaborative works with Artists such as Yenn and Ian Fever. The latter, with whom he shared multiple successful releases which went on and got major support amongst Youtubers, that used the very Melodic and Energetic tracks such as 'Avive' as themes for their channels. At the mere age of 18 Almi produced, in collaboration with Yenn and Ian Fever the official Anthem for Luxembourg's Electronic Music Festival ‘e-Lake‘in 2012, carrying on by also remixing the official anthem in 2019. In 2020 Almi is reaching for newer grounds by venturing into the darker sounds of melodic techno & house. Having already released his original track 'Higher' under the Record Label Lauter Unfug, and remixed 'Blast Off' with Theus from Brazil for Bonzai Progressive which got supported by Grammy nominated Fatum! Almi now has, among others, upcoming releases on EDX's record Label Sirup Records from Switzerland, and on Bonzai Progressive from Belgium. He’s definitely an Artist to watch!
