AQUALASH is Sarah Lorien and Michael Trifunovic. Based in Sydney, they have developed a truly unique musical identity that would sit comfortably in a playlist alongside artists such as Portishead, Goldfrapp (circa 'Felt Mountain' or 'Seventh Tree'), Morcheeba, Kate Bush, Garbage, Radiohead, Astrid Gilberto, Florence and the Machine (Cosmic Love), PJ Harvey, Julie London, Leonard Cohen, KT Tunstall (Night Like Pepper, Throw Me A Rope) and Gillian Welch (Everything Is Free). On YouTube, a new video is online now for their song America from the Blue Notes EP, and for more visual representations of their sound check out the photographic posts on their Facebook page.
