Artemas Diamandis, known mononymously as Artemas, is an English-Cypriot singer, songwriter, and record producer. He gained prominence with his singles “If U Think I’m Pretty” and “I Like the Way You Kiss Me”. Born on September 23, 1999, in Oxfordshire, England, Artemas grew up in a village where he nurtured his passion for music from a young age. Inspired by the documentary “Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck,” he began writing songs at the age of 16. Artemas’s journey in music began with a “very bad rock song” at 17, which received local radio play. His first official release was the single “High 4 U” in November 2020. His style, often compared to Rex Orange County with a hint of R&B, evolved over the years. On October 24, 2023, Artemas released “If U Think I’m Pretty,” which quickly went viral. By February 2024, the song had reached the UK Singles Chart. Following this success, he released the mixtape “Pretty” and the single “I Like the Way You Kiss Me” on March 19, 2024, which topped the charts in Germany and Lithuania and reached the top ten in several other countries, including the UK.
