Asal grew up in a musical environment in Iran. Both of her parents have musical experience: Father played keyboards, and Mother sang. Also, at the age of seven, Asla received her first guitar. Asal moved to Vancouver while she only spoke Farsi and listening most of the time to Persian Music. She picked up on how to speak English by her time in school and listening to new music, she started making her own music and creating her original sound. From her bedroom setup, Asal fuses together an arrangement of deep raw vocals with a mixture of alternative hip hop production. Asal had completed her first Tour in North America supporting Artemas and prepared to release her first EP. Alongside of the momentum of releasing Headache and Liars & Players Asal is creating a world for herself while continuing to push the boundaries of Alternative Music. Read more on Last.fm.
