ASIAM is a Belgian band formed by ex-a200club singer/drummer Stijn Maryns and ex-Janez Detd basplayer Bob Haentjes in 2002. They started writing songs and no more than one year later, Nailpin, another belgian band, decided to put ASIAMs song Last Call as a B-side on their single. Studio Brussel, Belgiums alternative radio station, liked it, and gave it some airplay. In 2005, the band got a third member. Dimitri Vinck, ex-Gwyllions frontman, joined. As a three-headed band they started writing their first album. Recording started begin 2006 and in may the album was reay and released. Before they released their album, they called in the help of another ex-member of the Gwyllion, Redg, to take over Stijn's drums. Read more on Last.fm.
