Biaz



Biaz started dj'ing around 95. Got influenced by mom's old Motown records and early nineties hiphoptunes. Hooked up with Curck from Fried Chicken Records in 97. Started dj'ing at parties and events for Fried Chicken Records and made a number of mixtapes. Moved to Amsterdam in 99 to study Audio Engineering @ SAE. At that time Biaz also started working on own tunes. In 2002 Glue and Biaz formed the Drumatizers and made the first Drumatizers mixtape: Strange Adventures. With the Drumatizers Biaz played numerous events alongside ?uestlove, Jeru The Damaja, Dj Food, Dj Krush, Whiteflied Brothers, Kid Koala, Lefties Soul Connection, Mo & Grazz, Jerboa... The first Drumatizers 7 with production by Glue and Biaz was released in August 2006 on Assembly Line Records. As Drumatizers they continue doing more tunes, mixtapes and live shows on 4 decks. Biaz released also a series of mixtapes himself; one of these mixes was Cut By The Hand Of A Ninja, a mega mix of records from the Ninja Tune Label. Biaz made 2 mixes with good friend Tom D (aka Jack The Box). These mixes were a blend of old skool hiphop, disco, breaks and related. Having always loved the sound of Drum n Bass and Dubstep, Biaz and Fallujah formed Science Of Two early 2008. This name is used for Dubstep and Drum n Bass projects.
