[url=[officialsite]www.babsan.nu]Babsan (born as Lars-Åke Wilhelmsson, on September 8, 1958 in Furuvik, Gävle, Sweden), is a Swedish fashion designer and drag show performer. He is a trained typographer and art director. During his childhood Wilhelmsson was a successful contest dancers. In 1979, he formed a drag show group, Surprise Sisters, with some friends. As a designer, he has been awarded with Golden Mask several times for his designs for theatrical productions. He has done costumes for RENT, The Wizard of Oz, Pippi Longstocking, STARS, Karlsson on the Roof and Grease. In 2011, Babsan competed in Melodifestivalen with the song Ge mig en spanjor (English: Give Me a Spaniard). He came in seventh out of eight in the second semi final. Read more on Last.fm.
