Second Coming EP
You are visiting the profile of an EDM producer sharing his own productions, inspired by the old and the new styles around him. Working from the center of The Netherlands. Which is an actual country in Western Europa bytheway! :) Between Great Britain and Germany to be exact. I guess you could say I have two musical sides. One of them is as a consumer, as which I spend most time. At work, at home, by alarmclock, by showerradio, in da club, in the car of on my bike: I'm practically *always* listening to music. Most of the time it's acid, drum and bass, pop, hiphop and club I'm listening. I consider myself to be a person with a wide taste in music. But I must admit that all the different styles of house music are the core of my musical heart. Probably because I've seen it develop as acid, new beat and hiphouse in 1988. All the way through techno and hardcore to the trance, electro, dubstep and drum and bass of today. It might be all electronic where I am coming from. But through the years I also enjoyed some more guitardriven music like - to name just a few - Metallica, Rammstein, Paramore, Evanescence and Within Temptation. So much for the listening me. Now about my music making side. In the last 15 years I've created about 70 tracks in my homestudio. Most of them not being more than a try-out or part of a song but still enjoyable. Others being complete tracks 3-min-plus, most of them using too much copyrighted samples... ;) The first few years I mainly made hardcore house up to 200 bpm, that being the sign of the time back then. Over the years I started experimenting with the more chemical beats and house. But also kept honoring the good ol' 303 sound! So far my musical background. Then there's the name :) The thought behind BioStorm would be: 'a positive short-circuit in the brain leading to creativity'. Rounding up I'd say: enjoy music as a universal language. Whether it is mine on Soundcloud or not! :) Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
