Quemo Lento [Explicit]
There are two bands named Bodine: 1. Bodine was a Dutch heavy metal band which was active from 1978 until 1984. The band released three albums: Bodine (1981), Bold as Brass (1982) and Three Times Running (1983). Bodine debuted with Jay van Feggelen as the vocalist, who performed as the Barbarian in the album Into the Electric Castle by Ayreon. The creator of Ayreon, Arjen Anthony Lucassen (performing as Iron Anthony), tried becoming the lead singer of Bodine but was added as a guitarist instead. In 2012, Jay van Feggelen joined The Southside Blues Revue as lead singer under the alias of Jay Bodean, a clear reference to his Bodine past. The band is currently inactive. 2. Bodine was a short-lived band that toured extensively in 1968-69, culminating in one album (with exceptional production by Bill Cowsill of The Cowsills). They based themselves in Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area before entering the L.A. folk rock/garage band scene, working alongside The Doors and other notables. Bodine were labelled country rock, but their influences from funk rock and psychedelia drew comparisons to The Beatles, The James Gang, and Poco. Attempting to put together core members of the Daily Flash, Bodine was formed in April 1968 in Los Angeles California, creating a new format for original music compositions. This union of impressive musicians brought together David Brooks on keyboards from Berkeley, CA; Eric Carl on vocals and guitar from New York; Steve Lalor from Seattle on guitar and vocals; Kerry Magness from Seattle/Yakima on vocals and bass; and Jon Keliehor on drums from Seattle. The initial development period for the band took place between Many and December 1968 in the Bay Area of California around San Francisco and Oakland. Bodine moved to Seattle in December of 1968, extensively touring the area, then packed up and left for Los Angeles in May of 1969. While in Los Angeles they recorded the album Bodine between June and July of 1969 for MGM. In September of 1969 they again returned to the Great Pacific Northwest for another tour. By December of 1969, management collapsed and the band dissolved. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
