Brandenburg is the name of at least 2 bands: 1. Brandenburg was an alternative rock/pop-punk band from Chesterfield/Detroit, Michigan, United States. From their Myspace in 2009: With their soaring vocals, huge guitar hooks, and anthemic choruses, Brandenburg has created their sound by combining pop/rock energy with melodic sensibility. On their debut EP Everything You Wanted And More, Brandenburg delivers a diverse, yet solid set of songs that showcase their wide range of influences. From the hard rock of One For Love, One For Loss, the melodic pulse of My Dream, Your Memory, the sing-a-long anthem This Dancing, and the lush and delicate soundscapes of the title track, Brandenburg has songs that are for every type of listener and are catchy enough to get caught in your head after only one or two listens. Consisting of brothers Pat (Bass/Vocals) and Phill Hood (Drums), as well as friends Steve Stocker (Guitar) and David Heinrich (Guitar), Brandenburg is willing to work hard to reach their goals and gain listeners wherever there are listeners to be gained. Although they have only been together since May 2005, they have already performed with several national acts such as Quietdrive (Epic Records), Boys Like Girls (Red Ink/Columbia Records), Jupiter Sunrise, Park (Lobster Records), and Kaddisfly (Hopeless Records). Despite all of their accomplishments in the short year and a half they've been together, the band knows that achieving all of their goals will take much more hard work and determination. In other words, Brandenburg won't settle with letting themselves become a memory. The band released 2 EPs: Everything You Wanted And More in 2006 and We Breathe While We Wait in 2009. Brandenburg was a post-punk/new wave band formed in January 2010. It took them less than a year to release three independent records. Despite these three records have come in different sound, they share a distinctive style which embraces the dance rhythms with atmospheric guitars and harmonious vocals. The band became a resident of the most popular Moscow clubs, took part in the Afisha Picnic Festival, F5 like fest, Fred Perry Music Night Fest. In 2011 the band released the 4th EP.
