The song was inspired by a not-so-friendly female from Branton's place of work. As the story follows: Branton was poached by a woman, who had very strong intentions. Upon having her advances denied, she took, what some may call extreme measures, asking anyone who may know the artist personally for "dirt" that could be used against him. 1) Branton (born April 7, 1997), is the moniker, and middle name of American singer/songwriter, Nickolas (Nicko) Joyce. Having taken-in words of wisdom from the indie-pop heavyweight, Wingtip, Branton came onto the scene in 2021, with his debut single Caffeine. The indie, alternative artist followed his release with his first self-produced and vocally-performed EP, Eggshells (2022). Due to heavy-hitters, like Ryan's Song, the EP found movement amongst the underground, indie-heads. The 5-song, 'fitting-room' project took listeners through an emotional bender by way of happiness and despair. That same year, in the fall of 2022, a demo for the now fan-favorited Indiana Jones was birthed. Branton, having come off an emotion-stirring EP, wrote from a place of silliness and fun. The demo caught the ear of producer and artist: Luke Atlas, who's best known for his roles in Coast Modern and now, Wet World. Indiana Jones (2022), set the benchmark for Branton's most commercially successful song, and marked the starting point of a musical friendship. The two, together, joined forces in 2023, with tracks: Threaten Me, and Samurai's Deathwish. 2) Branton is a chillout, and free music artist, best known for his releases on Jamendo Music.
