Some 10 years ago Bytecon aka Opbrouck Stijn started his musical carreer at a little village in Belgium. For more than 6 years he played as a guitarist and bassist in several bands. After the bands splitted up he decided to make elektro-acoustic music in his home-studio. After a long period experimenting, Bytecon was able to do his first gigs. Two years later Bytecon was picked up on DJ Valium's // Valyom° label called Radar Records, where he had his first release. In the last years there were possibilities to get bigger in the international underground scene with gig's in Germany, France and Czech Republic. Bytecon is well known for his combinations of totally different music styles. Hard but not overdistorted, rhythmic without four-to-the-flour, travelling without over-experimenting, this is what you can get from Bytecon.
