Her music is a true blend of her Jamaican roots and rhythm and blues. She is the younger sister of Nailah and Nyanda Thourborne, who are the members of brick & lace. 3. Candace (fomerly Is/Is) infuses their music with a sense of mystery and brooding atmosphere.
