Caramelle, has singing in her blood. Already as a little girl, the charismatic singer with German and African roots, convinced her teachers and classmates to establish a children's choir. Later the Itzehoe native sang in the school- and gospel choir and was the lead singer of her middle school. Due to much ambition and support from her German mother, her Ghanaian father and her four siblings she held onto her goal to become a singer. She took singing and dancing lessons and worked on her voice and stage presence. Next to her apprenticeship as a nurse, Caramelle took jobs as a model and wrote her first songs which she published on the internet. At age 18 the ambitious artist signed her first record deal. Caramelle's first single „Self Control“ was released in February 2007 and climbed throughout ten weeks to reach #39 on the German Media Control charts. This started an eventful time. Caramelle shot her first music video, gave interviews and went on her first club tour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Her tour reached it's peak during the summer of 2007 at the Berlin-Wannsee with an audience of over 35.000 people. Later the same year a cover of the popular song „Last Christmas“ was released as a download at the label Pulsive Media. With this song, Caramelle reached top spots in international download charts, among other, #1 in Korea, the USA and Poland. In 2008 things slowed down a little around the bundle of energy from Northern Germany. But just in time for Christmas, Caramelle released her new song „Amazing Grace“, the first released song which was mostly penned by her. The vivacious singer worked together with many artists to better herself and learn new things, to this day she can count many successful performances among her credentials, worked with multiple labels on her career, still stands in front of the camera as a model and even takes small movie roles. In 2009 the long awaited single „No Crime“ was released. Caramelle who, by now, is referred to as Hamburg's R'n'B Princess surprised her fans with a music video where she herself had a hand in composition and direction. For a Pop'n'B ballad which she wrote herself. Stage dancers which wher e cast early that year made, among others, an appearance in this video. Caramelle was temporarily more focused on modeling during 2010 and became the German „Ruff Ryders“ model. Subsequently, she appeared in magazines, on posters and in cinemas. In the same Year you saw her dancing in the musicvideo time performed from the Danish singer Ida Corr.
