There are three bands with the name Caterpillar: 1. Caterpillar is a Philadelphia indie rock band formed in 1989 as Caterpillar. Reunited in 2008, they have released a new EP, The 2009 EP. They also released three albums and a slew of singles in the early 90's, including split releases with Superchunk and Zen Guerilla. Caterpillar was a six-piece indie / rock band from Rīga, Latvia formed in year 2002 as Caterpillar.lv.Current lineup is playing together since their reunion in year 2006. Their drummer Ints is also taking a part in such Latvian acts as No Neighbours and Tribes Of The City.In year 2009 band split up after member rotation and change its name to Cвема. www.myspace.com/caterpillarlv 3.Caterpillar is a stoner/hardcore band from Patras,Greece, formed in 2006.The band has participated in a few local shows in Patras and Athens and was about to record their debut full length album in the next few months of 2007. That was until October 2007 when Nick had to move to Athens so they decided to break up.The band members are Chris(Vocals), Nick(Guitars), Andreas(Bass,BVocs) and Thanos(Drums).
