Catscam was an organic electro-step group from Vancouver, formed in the late 90's as a duo (Mike Cantelon and Justin Ray) performing lo-fi noisecore with turntables, computers and drum machines. Later, Catscam added guitarist Trevor Carpenter with his bevy of electronic effects pedals, before their release of Clean Up Code. Later, Catscam released a live album before going into an extended hiatus. All Catscam recordings were recorded into two channels, so no further mixing or editing was possible. Since nothing was ever sequenced, the Catscam sound is a raw, organic, and noisy mix unlike anything else. The unique Catscam sound is legendary among Vancouver's underground electronic scene, and the limited edition LP is a rare commodity. Read more on Last.fm.
