Chase Shaun Mitchell, known professionally as Che (alternatively known as Cheromani or cheRomani+), rapidly gained attention with his unique blend of genres and sounds that include trap, Southern hip hop, and Chicago drill. Che began his musical journey in 2020 under the alias “murkio!” and has since been active in reshaping the boundaries of contemporary music with his innovative approach and engaging releases. Che's music is recognized for its melodic, pluggnb-infused style which stands out in the current SoundCloud new wave of music. Che could also refer to the short-lived desert rock band formed by Brant Bjork, Alfredo Hernández and Dave Dinsmore. Bjork and Hernandez both previously played drums in the genre-defining band Kyuss, and Hernandez has also played with Queens of the Stone Age. Dinsmore was recruited from stoner rock band Unida.
