Highly influenced by the Commodore 64 computer scene, Chotaire has been producing trance and techno tracks for more than 10 years and has also worked on several soundtracks. Recent tracks by Chotaire are becoming slow-paced and combine elements of ambient, electro, trance and lo-fi sid elements, sometimes even guitars and voices. Under his name Man & Machine Chotaire is still DJ'ing on a few occasions and playing more dancefloor-based stuff, while generally his music productions under the Chotaire brand are more designated to relaxed listeners in the living-room. Distracted by many other projects, there is only a handful of recent releases to be found on the internet, however he has been (and still is) working on an album that might get finished one day if someone would just kick his ass.
